Is mold dangerous?
No—mold on Vext pods is not harmful to you or your plants. It’s a natural result of moisture and organic material.
It does not affect plant growth and often disappears on its own as the plant matures and the root zone stabilizes.
What can you do about the mold?
Leave it be: In most cases, you don’t need to take any action.
Gently remove if needed: If you find the mold visually unappealing, you can gently scrape it off with a clean spoon or tissue. Be careful not to disturb or damage the seedling or roots.
Improve airflow: Ensuring your cabinet fans are working and not obstructed can help limit mold growth by keeping the area well ventilated.
