Cabinet factory reset
Is you cabinet having issues? A factory reset will likely not solve it. You should instead follow the troubleshooting guides or contact support.
A factory reset erases all data from the cabinet and unlinks it from your account. The cabinet forgets its configuration and its state, including the nutrients in the water and the plants growing in it. The most common reason to do this is handing the cabinet over to someone else.
Before you start
After a reset you will need to change the water and plant new pods. If you reset by mistake and want to keep growing, contact support before you do anything else.

Do not unplug the cabinet while the reset is in progress.
Step 1: Enter reset mode
Press and hold the button for about 9–12 seconds, until it turns red. Then release.
The button will start blinking red to indicate reset mode is active and nothing has been erased yet.
To exit reset mode without resetting the cabinet: Short-press the button while it is blinking red, instead of completing step 2.
Step 2: Confirm the reset
Hold the button again until it turns solid red, then let go.
The cabinet starts resetting. Leave it plugged in.
Step 3: Wait until the button blinks blue
The button switches off while the reset runs. This takes up to 2 minutes.
The cabinet then starts again and enters pairing mode, shown by a blue button. At that point the reset is finished and you can unplug the cabinet if you are moving it or handing it over.
All done.
The cabinet is now in the same state it was in when it arrived. To use it again, pair it in the app, complete all of the first tasks.
